Primary Characteristics: Deliver quality support and application assistance to the end user. Work with the business unit mangers and end user community to ensure proficiency of the integrated software applications. The goal of this function is to maintain standards and system procedures, which will meet the needs of all business units and enhance workflow and profitability.
Essential Functions: 1. Maintain and support front-end origination systems for retail and wholesale production environments. 2. Maintain and support production systems for loan delivery and secondary marketing. 3. Maintain and support communications with credit, flood, fraud, automated underwriting system and closing vendors. 4. Act as a liaison between systems departments business units, and the end user community to provide assistance in troubleshooting issues to determine whether they are applications related or technical. 5. Act as a liaison with the SQL and Oracle database administrators for troubleshooting issues and required resolutions. 6. Act as a liaison with the network administrator for troubleshooting issues and required resolutions with LAN and Winframe for remote users. 7. Maintain testing/training lab for testing and staging new releases of all front-end and back office applications prior to release to the end users.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): • Knowledge of the personal computers • Knowledge of front-end products is preferred
Abilities: • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff personnel. Individual must be a team player, self-starter, self-disciplined, and highly motivated. Individual must also be resolution oriented, capable of analyzing simple to complex issues and independently determine resolutions, posse’s decisions making skills, as well as foresight on global impact of decisions as it related to the infrastructure of the software applications. Regular attendance and punctuality is essential to this position. • Must have the ability to demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of the business by working extended hours when necessary (early morning, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.)
Training and Experience: 3-5 years experience in the Mortgage Banking arena to include Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Origination Secondary System Support or Secondary Marketing. Post Closing and Secondary Support.
