THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT THE RIVERSIDE BRANCH
Primary Characteristics: Provide quality customer service and to sell the Bank’s financial products to customers and potential customers.
Essential Functions: • Participates as a team member developing individual goals and objectives to successfully meet Branch business plan. • Assists in the acquisition of consumer loan relationships and accepts consumer loan applications. • Understands competitor products and services and advantages of the Bank’s. • Promotes financial services/cross sell financial products using benefits statements based on customer need. • Handles customer service duties as required by branch platform such as: profiling, name and address changes, check orders, signing up direct deposit customers and automatic bill paying by ACH, answering rate inquiries, using each as an opportunity to design solutions designed to meet customer financial needs. • Handles completion of forgery affidavits; refer to Bank Security Officer and central support. • Accepts orders for wire transfers and research. • Opens/closes accounts for retail customers (business and consumer). • Retains Branch customers and increase the level of products used by these customers. • Accepts orders for new IRA accounts, IRA maintenance and closures. • Answers inquiries from customers and prospects, using these opportunities to sell additional products and services to customers. • Inherence to the vision and values of EverBank of Florida.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Requirements): • Must have exceptional customer service. • Must have sales skills and consistently maintain a positive attitude. • Acknowledges customer complaints and follows up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction. • Maintain a working understanding of, and comply with, bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations. • Must have a professional appearance and manner.
Training and Experience: • High school graduate • 2 years higher education preferred and/or 2 years work experience in a retail/financial institution.
