Primary Characteristics:
The role of the Operations Reporting Analyst is to design and create reports that help management in the Banking Operations Group understand the state of their business and make better management decisions. The Operations Reporting Analyst creates reports, graphs and data analysis that is requested by the Banking Operations Group managers.

Essential Functions:
• Maintaining all existing reports.
• Creating reports as requested by the management team.
• Troubleshooting problems and errors as they occur in all systems.
• Recommend and design reports, graphs and data analysis with initiative.
• Conducting ad hoc research as deemed necessary by the management.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Requirements):
• Must have strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to formulate solutions to non-routine problems.
• Must have an extensive understanding of spreadsheet and database management particularly Excel and Access and in SQL or SAS.
• Must have the ability to create clear and meaningful presentations of table reports and graphs and the text explaining them.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Must have the ability to work accurately and efficiently under time pressure.
• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all employees.
• Experience in data quality controls and detecting errors in the data

Training and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or Finance (with a Masters a plus)
• A minimum of three years of experience in reporting and analysis, preferably in a financial institution, particularly in the deposits operations of a bank.
• Strong communication skills.
